But comparable enrichment infrastructure projects are not cheap or fast: The Economist noted one such project reportedly cost $35 billion, more than double its initial estimate, and finished seven years behind schedule.1 Tehran's next operational move is what matters now. Past censures and referrals have been followed by tangible escalations — additional centrifuge installation, reduced inspector access, higher enrichment levels. With 440.9 kilograms already at 60 percent and IAEA verification effectively degraded, any Iranian move toward 90 percent would rewrite the breakout timelines that European governments and uranium buyers have been working from.4,3,7
