EDF Nuclear Curtailments Hit 7.6 GW Summer Peak as Forward Easing Mutes Power Market Response

Heat-related curtailments to France's nuclear fleet reached 7.6 GW on Monday (2026-08-03), equivalent to 12% of installed capacity and the steepest reduction since the latest heatwave began the week of 2026-07-27, Montel reported, citing EDF data.
